In the forest, but not looking at the hunters gun, 2009

Film
Independent

I commissioned Ayling & Conroy as my final MA project.

The development of this film took place through a series of conversations about commissioning a new work in the context of an educational setting. It also emerged from the relationship established with Ayling & Conroy when commissioning them for ‘Responses: Three Approaches to One Space’, Spike Island, 2008.

Download a critical text about the work by writer David Trigg.

Ayling & Conroy worked together between 2005-2010.

Bruce Ayling now Bruce Asbestos is an independent artist and Hannah Conroy is a curator.
